News from Florida Alpha - Spring ’22

The summer is here, so our undergraduate brothers conclude another successful school year. From securing the University of Florida’s chapter of the year honor for the sixth consecutive time to excelling in intramural sports and hosting a successful Surf Frenzy philanthropy, our brothers continue to uphold the highest SigEp values while delivering a positive and fruitful fraternity experience.

We are incredibly thrilled brother Parker Rossignol ’24, SigEp selected as one of the 18 Tragos Quest to Greece scholars. Parker will travel to Greece this summer and join a prestigious list of Florida Alpha SigEps who have been recognized with this honor across generations. We look forward to hearing about Parker’s experience in this fall’s newsletter!

On the alumni side, we held our successful inaugural Florida Alpha Classic golf tournament this past March. If you missed out, you’d be pleased to know we will bring it back every spring. Read more about it in this spring’s issue of the Gator Heart Newsletter!

Florida Alpha will be well represented this summer in San Antonio, Texas, for SigEp’s 58th Grand Chapter Conclave. Will Florida Alpha take home its third consecutive Buchanan Cup? Keep an eye out for our updates from Texas this August 2nd - 6th.

We look forward to gathering at our beloved house this fall to cheer on the Florida Gators. If you plan to join one of the alumni tailgates, keep an eye out for an update as we get closer to the fall.

Have a great summer and take care of yourselves!
