Florida Alpha Alumni Fund

Where we need funding the most, the Alumni Fund helps the Alumni and Volunteer Corporation (AVC) keep our doors open. Your gift may be used for, but not limited to, house repairs and maintenance, such as new air conditioning, electrical, kitchen, and updating dorm areas, and supporting your alumni room and alumni functions. Gifts also help support your official alumni newsletter, The GatorHeart.

Florida Alpha Scholarship Fund

To Gainesville (local) — Aiding young men of the University of Florida who are members of, or who are pledged or rushing to become members of, the Florida Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, the Florida Alpha Scholarship Fund provides help through scholarship proceeds.

Dave Hendon Added Dimensions Fund

To Gainesville (local) — Building and maintaining an educational environment, the Dave Hendon Added Dimensions Fund underwrites some tuition costs for certain educational programs like the SigEp Leadership Continuum, Conclave attendance, UIFI (sponsored by the National Interfraternity Conference), and other educational campus and community leadership programs for brothers. This is our most flexible fund.

Florida Alpha Endowment Campaign
(Usually estate & income tax-deductible)
Endowment gifts are future gifts, usually by will or trust bestowed upon Florida Alpha. To endow literally means “to furnish with funds.” Florida Alpha Endowment Campaign gifts may include, but are not limited to, appreciated real estate and stocks, bonds, beneficial interest in life insurance policies, foundation grants or matching gifts. . These future gifts count toward all gifting levels at a 10:1 ratio as opposed to a direct cash gift. An example of this would be a $5,000 cash gift would achieve the same gifting level as a $50,000 future bequest from a brother’s will, trust or other vehicle. Please contact us for more information.
