Frank Hay ’39 passed on to Chapter Grand on March 24, 2011. He was a resident of Brentwood, Calif., at the time of his passing.
Albert E. Kretschmer ’49 has considered himself to be “a cowboy without a horse” because of the small farm he and the bank own. Albert is a retired professor emeritus of agronomy who lives in Fort Pierce, Fla. He wishes everyone the best success.
William J. Moredock ’54 has traveled to 78 countries and 98 ports in the world. He has met the emperor of Ethiopia, president of the Garibia, Lord Mt. Batton of England and many more. Harold Waldron ’54 likes to spend his time golfing and fishing. He enjoys all the activities that make retirement fun. However, he is suffering the effects of and having a “bad time” with Parkinson’s disease. He lives with his wife, Joanne, in St. Augustine, Fla.
Alan Hovey ’56 and his wife, Sue, live in Ormond Beach, Fla. He has always had a love for singing and he to sounds off with the Daytona Beach Choral Society. He sings bass and serves as the first vice president of the group.
Bertram Herlong ’56 celebrated 50 years of ordained ministry in the Episcopal Church on March 13. He divides his time between Nashville, Tenn., and St. Augustine, Fla. Joseph Lang ’59 is a widower living on the Suwannee River near Old Town, Fla. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1987. He enjoys fishing, boating, and working around his home.

John Eagan ’60 has two children, Michael and Melinda. For the past three years, he has been a mentor to inmates at San Quentin prison and produces the San Quentin News. Marmaduke H. Dent ’62 resides in Sterling, Va., with his wife, Jodi. Duke was awarded the Wright Brothers Award Master Pilot that was presented at the Flight Standard District Office in Washington, D.C. Paul H. Grigsby ’63 has been enjoying retirement for 20 years. He and his wife, Sharon, live in Rochester, N.Y. He is in the middle of his yearly volunteer work with AARP.
